If you are looking for hotels in Seminyak that won’t break the bank, we’ve got you covered.
While staying in a luxury villa is an awesome experience, sometimes the wallet doesn’t stretch that far. These hotels have proven reliable and value for money, although the pricing can vary depending on occupancy rates. None are worth more than $100 a night, so if the prices being advertised go over that then give it a miss.
So, let’s look at the Best Hotels Under $100 in Seminyak.
Maison at C
Our absolute favourite budget hotel in Bali, hands down, full stop.
Maison at C is one of those hidden gems that you would never find yourself. It’s tucked away down a bumpy side road in the heart of Petitenget only 100 metres from the best fine dining restaurants and beach clubs in Bali.
All hotels in this area advertise photos that set high expectations, but the reality is frequently disappointing. This hotel is better than advertised, and that doesn’t happen often. For the price category, the rooms are exceptionally spacious and well appointed.
Without a doubt, the best hotel bathrooms in Seminyak in this price class, and far superior to some of the 5-star hotels in the same street. With colonial-style fittings along with the black and white tiling, we haven’t found better bathrooms in Seminyak for twice the price.
Kubu Cempaka has clean, modern rooms, good sized bathrooms with excellent showers, a fantastic pool that gets morning sun and lovely staff. Ticks all the boxes for us.
It’s located 350 meters off Jalan Seminyak and has easy access to Sunset Road, making it ideal for getting around on day tours or shooting up to the restaurants all around Seminyak, Oberoi and Petitenget.
It’s rare to get a hotel of this quality for the price, and we highly recommend booking well ahead of time because it is becoming increasingly popular for good reason. Breakfast is included in the price.
The Haven Seminyak
The best thing about The Haven is the location – smack bang in the middle of Jalan Seminyak, about 2 minutes walk from Bintang Supermarket. The pool is pretty good too. Ask for a room away from the street, which can be a little noisy.
Sense Sunset Hotel Seminyak
This is an ideal choice if you’re taking a bunch of day tours, as the location on Sunset Rd means getting around is easy. The Sense Sunset Hotel is an unremarkable but reliable choice. If you can get a good price on a suite room you’ve scored as they are quite spacious, double the size of a standard room.
Harris Hotel Seminyak
A bit of a Seminyak standard, The Harris Hotel Seminyak is not quite as clean as it could be, but the location is reasonably close to Seminyak Beach. The streetscape on Jalan Drupadi has been upgraded, and there are a bunch of new restaurants and cafes opening. It’s lost the buzz the neighbourhood used to have, but things will pick up once the shops start filling up again after closing down during building work in the area.
Major drawback – forget the pool. Go to the beach instead.
Hotel Amalfi Seminyak
The Hotel Amalfi Seminyak is in an excellent location for walking to beach clubs being only 300 meters from Potato Head and the beach, a 5-minute walk to Petitenget Beach. Probably the best location for sampling the amazing dining options concentrated around the Petitenget area.
Astagina Resort and Spa
Astagina Resort and Spa is technically in Legian, as it’s on the south side of Jalan Arjuna (Double Six Street). It’s tucked away a bit, so it is quieter and the walk to the beach isn’t far.
Tijili Seminyak Hotel
The Tijili Seminyak Hotel is a uniquely designed, art-oriented boutique hotel closer to the beach than the other hotels on this list. Its located on Jalan Drupadi around a hundred meters from Dyana Pura, the road leading down to Seminyak Beach.
A relatively new hotel, having been built in late 2015, reasonably priced, with good-sized rooms in a great location within walking distance to Seminyak Beach and the shopping district along Jalan Seminyak.
